Our History

Yeung Designs, specializing in the creation and fashioning of bridge/trend jewelry, was established in April 1999 by sisters May and Kathy Yeung. The partnership, which combines May's twelve years in the accessories industry and Kathy’s nine years of business consulting, has built a company that is responsive to trends in the world of fashion while maintaining a strong business sensibility. Specifically, May has sales experience with both Liz Claiborne Accessories and Monet Jewelry along with experience in visual merchandising with 1928 Jewelry. With Kathy's business savvy, having received her MBA from UCLA, the two sisters' drew upon their complementary expertise to launch Yeung Designs in a truly remarkable way.

The appeal of May Yeung Jewelry is its ability to convey classic style while adding a twist. This approach produces stylish pieces to accessorize any outfit; day or evening. With this in mind, the collections are designed to coordinate with each season's ready-to-wear fashions and colors. Equally alluring is the fact that the entire May Yeung Jewelry collection is exclusively designed and hand-made in Los Angeles. Since the materials are natural resources, no two pieces are exactly alike which contributes to each piece’s uniqueness. In keeping the commitment to quality, the company prides itself in reviewing each piece individually before shipment.

May Yeung Jewelry is also committed to helping better the lives of women, children, and those living in the Greater Los Angeles area. Over the past 8 years the company has contributed over $50,000 in funds and in-kind donations and continues to strive to help service organizations achieve their goals.

Happy days!
